Tuesday April 9 2024 - KickSands, MineBuster and MainEagleVisitors in town
It's 3 for the price of one! Julian_Chang (Previously known as KickSands (id 5185)), Dipper (Previously known as MineBuster (id 5188)) and MainEagle (id 1086) were visiting Montreal for the week-end.

I thought I would be just a tour guide, but we ended up wrestling, I think partly because it was rainy outside. Being a party of four, we took turns triple tag-teaming each other. At one point, I was head scissored, body scissored and gut punched. I even got a very nice double-bearhug... I think my first ever, squeezed between Dipper and KickSands. 😅

The other guys weren't as cooperative as I was when they were being triple-teamed. I guess this really shows the inner jobber heart that I have while the others are showing that they can fight and persevere their way out despite being overwhelmed from all ends.

I finished the night with a few light bruises, but the one that stayed the longest was a mark on my neck that actually looked like a hickey. The funny thing is that nobody gave me one.. it could have been a rear naked choke, an inadvertent squeeze, possibly some pressure point of some kind, everything gets lost in a four-way struggle and it's impossible to keep track of who did what. But who cares, right? You get to go home with a trophy! We should see it that way. ðŸĨ°

Dipper wanted to go to Arcade MTL afterwards. It's a nice bar where you pay for a one-day cover fee and you get unlimited access to arcade cabinets and gaming consoles. We ended up playing The Simpsons arcade game, we did some DDR, we also played Super Contra, Metal Slug 5, 4-player pong, Warlords (a game where each player protects their corner and deflect multiple fireballs) and we had two tournaments of Mario Kart Deluxe 8. You can tell that people drink and play because all the joysticks had buttons stuck with alcohol. 😂

I think MainEagle would have preferred to visit the city being the historical buff he is, but it was rainy anyway and he was being a good sport by going with Dipper's idea and joining us and watching us play. I did see him play Terminator 2 and Crazy Taxi as well, so I'm sure he enjoyed our outing as well. Dipper dominated the rankings though, showing us his l33t gaming skills. We are just one generation apart: I grew up with the NES and he grew with the SNES.

They went to a burger joint after midnight, but it was time for me to get back. I hugged every wrestler and we parted ways. I get to keep in my memories a very sweet night of wrestling and gaming. 💖

I had a rematch about one or two weeks ago. We tumbled lightly again, trying to teach him how to avoid my scissors. I toyed with him a bit more this time around, knowing his skill level and his limits. I think he had a better time in this re-match. He was constantly worried about me not having fun previously, so I kept telling him this time that I actually really enjoy squeezing him. Some people are very squeezable and RobyC is definitely one of them. He has the perfect size for me to put my legs around his waist and I can squeeze gently to get a nice little submission. 😉

RobyC eventually stopped struggling at one point, realizing that I was keeping him down, pinned, immobilized and making fun of him and letting me enjoy being the heel once in a while.

Friday February 9 2024 - HairyWrestlerVisitors in town
I had a visitor all the way from France staying at a downtown hotel. HairyWrestler had a brief match: the time zones were a major factor. It was 6 PM local time, but for him, it represented being awake at midnight.

Nevertheless, I was able to witness his first hand strength before it depleted. He slammed me initially with full force bringing me down with a headlock on top of me. As the match went by, I countered back with scissors and we took it lighter.

We ended up taking a big rest and watching "Peuples Souterrains" on TV5 which means "Underground nations" where a handsome host by the name of Jean-Simon Leduc showed us rural structures in Tunisia. It allowed HairyWrestler to take a short momentarily lapse of rest.. or a nap between our bouts.

HairyWrestler admitted that we need a rematch perhaps this summer. 😉

Friday January 5 2024 - LumberG vs WalterGVisitors in town
Last weekend, I finally was able to pit WalterG (id 2846) with LumberG (id 250). I was also there and I actually started to wrestle WalterG first to give a first glance for LumberG. It would allow him to determine preemptively what he is going up against...

I requested personally that they go easy on each other since LumberG is still recovering from a back and shoulder pain, but this never goes the way we want it and they both started pretty rough. Luckily, on our second and third bouts, we started going slower and we were able to regulate our testosterone.

Still, WalterG didn't hesitate to show that he could get all the gut punching in the world. We even double teamed him: I held him in a full nelson with light scissor while LumberG gut punched him. WalterG was still able to resist every punch we threw at him and he even showed LumberG, who is also a gut punching lover by the way, that WalterG could take a lot more!

WalterG kindly made a Caesar salad for us before we left in the spirit of keeping it light. Both Walter and Lumber exchanged their thoughts about traveling, discussed about wrestling and work... and we parted ways after about 2 hours. I later received a message from Walter saying that he adored our session and he's looking for a rematch. 😅 He mentioned he had a blast. He knew I was great, and he was expecting LumberG to be good too, but both of us together against him was amazing. I guess Walter loves to be double-teamed. 😂

The next day, I even saw a few bruises on LumberG's stomach and sides. And I told them to go easy. ðŸĪĶ (sigh)

Saturday October 7 2023 - Another gut punch session :)Visitors in town
WalterG (id 2846) was in town, but from a 3 months work trip from Greece and he'll be staying for a month or so in Montreal, so we've set up to meet during the week.

I got him to come to my place where I laid out the mats in my room. It's small for now, but it's workable. We had to try not to be loud, but with the gut punches and grunts we were delivery, I would have to say that we were probably not discreet at all. 😂

You can check [ Clip ID 427 ] for an arm and leg lock with gut punch combo where I am unusually the victim. Be warned... there are lots of laughs and farts, so it will probably be a turn off for most... but the goal here was to have some fun and I had quite a bit in my session with WalterG.

Even though WalterG's preferences are gut punches, mine are body scissors, which he can't take much. I can take his gut punches, but obviously not as much as he can. Sometimes, if our interests differ, we still try to make it work and balance it.

I eventually gave him the same combo he gave me, then altered between gut punches, groin grab, and leg punches to force him to bring his leg down so I can deliver more gut punches. To my pleasure and surprise, he ended up conceding. Rarely can I ever make the great WalterG give up on gut punches...

We'll probably be meeting again soon during his stay in Montreal.

Sunday September 24 2023 - WrestleWriterVisitors in town
WrestleWriter was in town for a visit. He is originally from Toronto and I had the honor to be his 3rd opponent.

For someone who is only at his third match, he definitely knew what is he doing. WrestleWriter is very strong and has natural instincts in wrestling. He has experience in kayaking and in hiking and that definitely gives him an advantage for other sports. He always been following wrestling for a long while, watching on TV and due to personal circumstances, he was only been able to start doing it recently. Anyhow, WrestleWriter is not a rookie by any means in my book. 😅

We tumbled around with light give and take and I realized I had to increase the notch up or two because he definitely could handle anything that I was throwing him. We still took it easy by taking breaks in between and he suggested that I lift him up. His reaction to a bearhug was funny because he wasn't expecting me to lift him. He was quite stiff in my rack and I had to tell him to relax, but that's a normal reaction for a first time rack. All in all, I think he had control of most of the match even though we took it easy and the irony was that he though I was going to destroy him and I thought he would be a walk in the park. I guess these encounters continue to remind me to never underestimate new opponents and never judge a book by its cover.

After our match, we went and meet up Ttaree Moss Dwa Le at a coffee shop. Yes, he was also in town and he also comes from Toronto. WrestleWriter had a few reservations about Ttaree, but a nice chat with coffee cleared up any clouds. I wish I could take Ttaree as a 2nd opponent, but I've decided to listen to my body and do only a maximum of one match per day. Ttaree kindly later gave us a lift to subway and I gave another brief hug to WrestleWriter who yelled "NOOOO!" because he didn't want to be lifted again. 😂

For sure, I made a new friend here and we will be meeting again in the future.

Monday August 28 2023 - Surprise visit from MainEagle93Visitors in town
I received the surprise visit of MainEagle93 (id 1086) today. He definitely had a better memory than I do, because he did remember that we wrestled in June last year.

MainEagle was in town and just happened to check with me if I was available. Since I wrestled him previously, I trusted him enough to let him come to my place while my mom was still in the condo. We locked ourselves in my room, I placed a couple of my wrestling mats on the floor and we tumbled around a little bit. I told him not to worry, my mom is almost deaf. For the record, she lives with me. 😂

MainEagle was very nice to let me put this time around the Loserboy's Hold. He kindly also put a very nice one on me... In short, we had quite a bit of fun in a short amount of time at the very last minute. I had to go look at the list of sweet nothings I had to say during our match because I had completely forgot them again... I do sometimes take notes when I talk to people, but these notes are pretty much useless if I do revise them before hand. 😅

I don't mind at all an unexpected encounter, but I did told him that he was lucky because I usually don't stay at my condo often, but rather at my boyfriend's place and we currently don't host at his place. The stars simply aligned and we were able to make that match happen thankfully. We did take the opportunity to share our thoughts and catch back on our long lost year. Heck, we even cheered each other up. As many opponents I've fought, we are often very hard on ourselves.

MainEagle93 told me that he loves Montreal, so he'll be back soon and he'll try to give me advance notice next time. 😊

Please grow me a beard next time? 😂

Wednesday August 9 2023 - RickSF and SFBruceVisitors in town
RickSF (id 8839) and SFBruce were in town last week-end. It was part of their multi Canadian city visit going from Toronto for the Canadian Wrestlefest, then with a hop to Ottawa and then to Montreal.

I was their tour guide for 2 small days. We walked and biked (using electric bikes) to the Old Port, passed beside Habitat 67 (built for the Expo in 1967, Expo 67 was an international and universal exposition, or, in short, a world fair), dashed beside the Osheaga Rock festival on the Concorde Bridge and visited the Jean-Drapeau Park which hosts the Gilles-Villeneuve Formula 1 race. Unfortunately, the track was under maintenance, but we still managed to biked through the small gardens. We then went to Chinatown to eat at Sammi & Soupe Dumpling, which was pretty good. In the evening, we hung out in the village, visited the Campus Strip bar and the bear bar Stud. We also met two of their wrestling friends from San Francisco.

RickSF and SFBruce on the Concorde Bridge

The next day, we biked further to the edge of the canal Lachine where the Rene-Levesque park is located and our way back, SFBruce pinpointed a special restaurant called "Le Taklamakan" that specializes in Uyghur cuisine. It was luckily near our bike path. SFBruce explained to me that Chinese restaurants that have Mandarin and Cantonese cuisine are plentiful in San Francisco, but Uyghur cuisine is impossible to find. Nevertheless, we were all thrilled to try this experience with him and we had the opportunity to taste delicious lamb dishes. On the map, that restaurant is denoted by that L-shaped detour we did on our bikes. 😅

I did manage to wrestle both of them a bit... and in the evening, I invited LumberG (id 250) over to tangle with them as well. SFBruce kindly went from submission to light give and take because I did told him to go easy on LumberG. RickSF was able to determine through the tangle that LumberG was safe to wrestle so we had a four way match on the small little bed at their hotel. We were then famished and LumberG suggested that we tried our specialty: Poutine, a dish made of fries, gravy and cheese curds. It's actually overrated, but still a great thing to make tourists try. 😂

From left to right: SFBruce, RickSF, Loserboy, LumberG

Rick asked me why I didn't attend the fest in Toronto to which I explained that I'm still recovering from my shoulder injury and didn't want to make it worse. I did replace both my workstations with standing desks, but it will take some time before I fully recover. It's technically my arrogance, stubbornness, stupidity and my strong desire to rack heavy guys that had gotten me in this much trouble. I just need to be a bit more disciplined and ask people for their weight before racking them and set myself reasonable limits.

Here's a shot of RickSF with a triangle head scissor on me :)

And here's a rare shot of LumberG (id 250) getting out-muscled and dominated by SFBruce even though LumberG is a heel at heart. 😂

Both RickSF and SFBruce gracefully suggested that we visit San Francisco, to which we would be more happy to do eventually :) I did give both of them my friendly bear hug before parting ways.

We actually had a trip planned the next day to Ottawa to meet with CanWrestle and Kevin_Nova, but LumberG's back was hurting and I was tired. In any case, Kevin_Nova was sick with a throat bug, so we simply went for dinner and had a nice chat with CanWrestle.

Friday June 30 2023 - Majestic SleeperVisitors in town
MajesticSleeper was in town for work and he pinged me for a match. He told me beforehand that he is a fan of bearhugger, having seen some of my photo matches in the past. Hmmm... what I wouldn't do for a fan? 😉

His face was cut off (or altered) on his profile so I didn't know what to expect. You guys know that I like to go blind anyway because these kinds of meet sometimes hide some of the best surprises. And I think this gamble paid off... 😅

When I arrive to his hotel room, lo' and behold, a cute asian bear originally from Thailand was right in front of me, greeting me at the door and asking me to wrestle him. It was certainly not what I thought I would see from the picture and the limited profile information, but I am not complaining: on the contrary, I'm welcoming the unexpected since he does have the body shape that I like along with the rare chest hair that is usually very rare and scarce among asians.

He has 6 years of wrestling experience (started around 2017), but it's on and off like most us, and I suppose you could cut 2 where we were all isolated. That being said, we took a light submission approach. He was easy for me to handle, I could tumble him with a bit of effort and he eventually asked me to boost my game by giving him a harder time. I gave him scissors, I gave him leg locks and leg scissors... I get a tap here and a tap there... I made it harder for him to try and put holds on me, then I gave reverse sleepers, arm bars and bear hugs. He of course threw on me his own arsenal, but I was a bit mean and wouldn't let him get any submissions. Hey, he did ask me to make it harder on him.😂

He works in a medical field and a very big fan of Schitt's Creek. I will probably get to see him again this year or next year, but he's only staying temporarily in Canada for his training and education. He currently lives in a small city in Ontario. Eventually, when his university years are completed, he'll move to the states so I'll have to make the most of it while I still can with this hunky beary stud.

I also did meet SaturnS22 last week-end, but we took it very chill and this would be one of the few encounters that I would say that it doesn't count as a wrestling match, but we'll meet again to catch up for the lost match. 😉

Tuesday May 30 2023 - WrestleBudVTVisitors in town
I had the honor of wrestling WrestlebudVT (id 15605) who traveled all the way from Vermont to Montreal for a match full of scissors. 😂

I did not mind at all putting all the scissors he could muster. I did ask him for his preferences, whether he likes body scissors, head scissors or leg scissors. He mentioned he wouldn't mind all three, but he quickly realized that leg scissors are one of the most painful and uncomfortable holds, so we quickly stayed with the head and body types.

WrestleBudVt is a very sweet guy. He is definitely for me a beginner and jobber whom I can just apply one hold after another. That being said, he can apply a good scissors as well. It does packs a good punch. He does have a better flexibility than I do, being able to resist crabs and deathlocks further than I would be able to.

He was a bit tense in my rack, but I convinced him to trust me with both a kneeling and standing rack, walking him around the room and showing him arched in front of the mirrors. He mentioned that the rack does not hurt much, but I told him it really depends how arched and aggressively bouncing it is done.😅

Eventually, WrestleBudVT's resistance to scissors lowered as the hours went by and eventually, he wouldn't be able to take it anymore and we've decided to call it a night so that we don't leave any long-standing pain. 😂

We'll reconvene another time for a new session of squeezing. :)

Sunday April 30 2023 - Fun with KickSands ðŸĪ—Visitors in town
I had the honor of having a visit from KickSands (id 5185) visiting us from Ottawa.

I tried to act as a tour guide, but this is definitely not his first rodeo in Montreal. I followed him to the museum called Pointe-A-Calliere otherwise also known as the "Montreal Museum of Archaeology and History". It contains a couple of exhibits, mainly about the history of Montreal, with sub-exhibits that temporarily change throughout the year like "Discoveries of Egypt" and of course, to attract families, you have things like a Pirate exhibit. 😉

We had to power through the last exhibit because KickSands was also interested in watching the Cirque Du Soleil show called "Echo". There were quite a few acrobatics presentations and a cube gimmick that left me pleasantly surprised. I do have to admit thought that I did prefer the first act as opposed to the second one. The fact that there were dedicated musicians and singers to accompany each circus trick was very well done in my honest opinion. The tricks were in sync with the music and it adds to the ambience and the immersion of the show. I had anxiety and worries for the performers because I felt there wasn't enough of a security net/protection for them, but I guess they do this on a daily basis and they know best what's safe for them. It was funny to see KickSands cringe at one of the performer who was able to crack/bend/twist his leg and arm around him. These types of performers usually remind us too well of the dangers and injuries we get into our daily wrestling lives. 😅

KickSands and I eventually got back to his hotel where he punished (or rewarded) me for tagging along by locking me into one BJJ hold after another. He's still the invincible and unbeatable guy that I know. 😂 Mind you, I do love getting twisted, squeezed and being heeled by the almighty KickSands. His creativity is never-ending and no matter what you try to do, his endless experience shows that you are nothing but a useless jobber, destined to tap over and over. ðŸĪŠ Again, I don't mind it at all because I do enjoy being this jobber, but I tell KickSands that he should also partake in this pleasure...

That being said, after about an hour, KickSands kindly allowed me to lock him into a session of what I love to call "Scissor Massage Therapy", where I would gradually increase the pressure of my scissors, release, rinse and repeat. Honestly, I love been squeezed and you guys know I do only holds that I would love others to do on myself. My mission is really to show my opponents that there is a lot of fun of being scissored consecutively over a half-hour or so. It does leave with a few body ache, especially on the sides... I mean who doesn't like tenderized ribs.... but believe me, in the long term, it builds your resistance and makes you feel real good. ðŸĪ—

We went to a Chinese restaurant in Chinatown during the morning and for supper, we tried to go a french restaurant called L'Express... but at 9 pm, there was still an hour of wait. People eat pretty late. Our backup plan was a Greek restaurant called "Les Jardins de Panos". We will have to try L'Express again for a different visit. ðŸĨš

I tried to get LumberG (id 250) to join us for a tangle, but he had a long day at work and needed to rest. He suggested that we make a new separate trip to re-visit Ottawa.

In the evening, I brought KickSands out to the village to make him visit two gay strip bars: The Stock Bar and the Campus since he had not visited any strip bars previously. It's the sort of thing you see in movies, so why not try it in person even if the experience is awkward? 😅 I'd had to say that I was quite a bit disappointed with the Stock Bar. In order the survive the current rough patch of the economy, they changed Saturdays to include ladies night and we were unlucky enough to be caught with two bridal showers with women screaming their lungs out because none of them have seen a cock in their lifetime.

We shortly hopped into The Campus where the experience was slightly better, but the venue was overcrowded and there was no place to sit. KickSands had the pleasant surprise however to bump into some of his past opponents that were originally from New Brunswick.

We eventually headed back to the hotel, I gave KickSands a nice goodbye hug that re-enacted the pain on the sides because of my previous multiple scissors.... We then parted ways with a promise for us to meet again in Ottawa sooner or later. 😘

Saturday March 4 2023 - Meet your heroes: Kayden KellerVisitors in town
CanWrestle (id 9693) is known to publish wrestling fiction. Many of his works were initially published in chapter portions on his MeetFighters blog, but he eventually consolidated them and is currently selling them as books on Amazon.

As his work gain traction, Kayden Keller eventually stumbled upon them (hey, our community is pretty small and niche... there isn't a lot of books covering gay wrestling on Amazon). So, he reached out to CanWrestle because the wrestling scenarios, stories and topics covered by his work intersect with Kayden's interests. They eventually make a trip to Montreal and I had the honor to wrestle both of them yesterday. I never thought I'd meet the Great Kayden Keller himself. He's an absolutely charismatic and exceptional guy all around: he is so down to earth, very humble, polite, well-mannered and quite intelligent. Should you meet him one day, remember to ask about his profession, he has a lot of things to share. He is definitely a superstar is in my eyes and he's an outstanding wrestler with an amazing personality. ðŸĪĐ

Kayden appears in more than 70 matches in BG East's videos and he is excellent and consistent throughout all of his performances, but meeting this guy in person and seeing how nice he is in real life is really something else. He's the introvert by day, extrovert wrestler with an outgoing and heeling persona by night. One may be intimidated by this titan measuring 6'2" and weighing 215 lbs at the time of our match, but truth be told, this giant beast is a gentle and tamed teddy bear. ðŸ§ļ

CanWrestle and Kayden rented a spacious hotel room in downtown Montreal and they borrowed my mats so that they can have a few local matches on something a bit more safer and pleasant to tangle in than a mattress. I couldn't host at my condo because my mom lives with me. I took a ride with them back to the hotel and I was worried about how we would be able to sneak in the mats without the reception eyeing us or flagging us someway or another. Luckily, their hotel had an underground parking lot. We simply carried the mats into the elevator and that lead us directly to the floor where the room was located. No need to pass awkwardly and unscrupulously in front of reception with eight large gigantic pieces of flashy blue suspicious mats. 😏

I had a great and memorable evening: we wrestled a bit, ate at the MVP sports bar, went back to the hotel for some more tango and LumberG (id 250) eventually joined us. We proceeded with a nice round-robin where Kayden evidently and effortlessly destroyed each of us, being the experienced wrestler that he is.

When I was ready to speak to Kayden for the first time, it went something like this:

"You probably get this often, but yea.. I'm a big fan. What really impresses me with your work is that you think outside the box. Most BG East matches I've seen follow a same format or template, they just feature two different wrestlers and they repeat the same stuff over and over. Your matches contains holds and maneuvers that only belong in fantasies and you make them a reality."

He smiled and he explained to me that they are indeed many that belong to the category of wrestlers that just want to shoot the video and leave with their paycheck ASAP, while there are others who understand the community and take the time to produce the kind of content that we actually want to see and put a lot of love and passion into it.

CanWrestle has already filled him with the info of my site and my main strengths so he went and picked me up in a bearhug, started tackling me down, letting me put my scissors on him.. which obviously and virtually did nothing. That's where I realized I was wrestling a concrete wall, an invincible brick and that there was nothing I can do aside from being defending and delaying the inevitable. Kayden also does have BJJ experience that made him untouchable and impervious to anything you could throw at him. He was definitely on a completely different level, but he will still adapt to your style, gradually apply his holds and he's super safe and nice to tangle with. Kayden was nice to cheer me up by saying that I was strong when he is clearly 10x stronger than I am. 😅

He shared this story that he had fought an opponent that was downplaying his skills, but when Kayden fought him, he realized that his opponent had a lot of training. His opponent later told him that he never show or tell his abilities and skills in advance because most people would be afraid to wrestle him or think they would end up with injuries. Many would believe or think of a scenario where they are this Level 1 Newbie Wrestler facing a Level 100 Maxed-out Opponent that will one-shot them and kill them, when the reality is the complete opposite: facing a highly experienced opponent means that you have less chances of being hurt, because your opponent knows exactly what they're doing.

Here's a couple of pics where Kayden clearly had control over me, but at the same time, he was taking very good care of me. 😅

A nicely applied gradual sleeper with scissor that spells submission!

This is actually a lethal arm lock, don't ever get caught in this even though I seem to be enjoying it!

CanWrestle actually signaled Kayden to rack me here. Isn't he a sweetie? He knows me well.

"Let me show you a rack of my own! Mwahahahah!", roars the Loserboy. 😆

You can actually get a different clip where LumberG took a video of Kayden doing a different rack on me, but standing up and turning around in [ Clip ID 426 ]

Mind you, I did wrestle CanWrestle too. He did short work of me. I always love being his jobber, even though I tease him that he enjoys being my ***** once in a while. We did very light stuff and I eventually got racked three times in a row at one point. Once by Kayden, once by CanWrestle and once by LumberG. I think I needed a little break in between them, because the pain in my shoulder started acting out... but it was still very fun nonetheless. 😅 I enjoyed all the racks and these guys do it all very safely, all like professionals! LumberG did told me at point much later that he would have wanted to be racked too... but he was too shy to ask Kayden, so let's put that on our bucket list for now. 😁

LumberG and I tangled a bit and we went:

"It's been a while we haven't wrestled each other."

So, CanWrestle asked:

CanWrestle: "Don't you guys wrestle each other all the time?"

LumberG: "Not really... since he injured me."

Yeah.. I used to put those leg scissors on LumberG on a regular basis until his sciatic nerve reminded him that it's not something he can take it anymore. I eventually stopped ever putting leg scissors on him, but I also stopped wrestling him competitively by fear of hurting him again or further. Since then, our matches are just a couple of give and take and roughhousing like playful gutpunching or light scissors with little pressure on my end unless Lumber politely asks to crank it up. It did took a couple of months for him to heal, but ever since, I am now still very cautious with LumberG so not to repeat the same mistakes or cause his nerve to enter in a regressive mode.

LumberG had his fair share of fun with Kayden. He actually came in not knowing who Kayden is until I much later showed Kayden's catalogs on BG East after the match. 😆 Once they locked up, it didn't take long for LumberG to determine that he was no match for Kayden's strength and experience. However, he was trying not to lose fast, because unlike me, LumberG doesn't like to be publicly humiliated although having Kayden flex on top of you is quite something!

LumberG flexes while enjoying a sight of Kayden Keller's biceps 😁

LumberG eventually said that the reason he doesn't wrestle people taller than him is because he doesn't want to lose. CanWrestle didn't hesitate to throw this:

"Well I'm shorter than you and I can beat you." 😉

LumberG mentioned to me that CanWrestle was stronger this time around than in Ottawa, but that was because we only informed him of our visit a few hours prior and that day, CanWrestle have had 5 trainings on boxing and BJJ so he was pretty tired. This time, he was all fresh and ready to tackle LumberG and show him his real strength.

When Kayden flexed on top of me, I literally said out loud: "I never imagined that this is something that I would ever be able to see in my life!" 😆 Yes, Kayden has always been a super hero of the gay wrestling world in my eyes, but seeing him flex, wrestle, rack and bearhug me was definitely like a dream come true... somebody pinch me! Our match was really fun and I honestly think this was one of the greatest thing that happened to me in a very a long time. ðŸĪ—

Kayden also mentioned a story where he downplays his looks and I had to interject with: "Please, Kayden, you are gorgeous!"

To this day, LumberG still pokes fun at me for throwing such a blatant over-the-top adjective. 😂

After our night, LumberG and I left around midnight to catch our last subway home. As I snuggled up to LumberG, I asked him:

Loserboy: "Did you take a shower?"

LumberG: "No."

Loserboy: "You smell like Kayden Keller."

LumberG: (sarcastic) "Do you want to sleep in the other room?"

😂

Wednesday September 14 2022 - Wrestlpal, round 2Visitors in town
Wrestpal was in town last week and we've decided to have a rematch. Originally from Germany, he lived a while in Portugal and then moved to London for work. So yes, he traveled all the way from London to Montreal. Our first match was in August 2019 and I still remember fondly the great time we had.

Wrestlpal gained a bit of weight in the past two years, but he managed to shave out 75% of it since. The extra weight did give him a bit of an edge, but he is still weak as always in body scissors. About a 20% squeeze is enough to make this big lad submit. To make things fair for him, I've taught him the elbow push on the leg to break free of scissors. When he tried it on me, I released it almost immediately and he accused me of purposely letting my scissors go. So.. in order to show the efficiency of the elbow, I told him to apply me the front body scissors exactly like I did while I dig my elbows in his legs. He obviously responded with "Ow!" and realized that I did NOT let him go on purpose. 😂

Our bout was as fun as last time, if not better and we even had time to practice and try out a few holds as sort of a training session.. trying to get out of holds or learning how to apply them. He made me realized that the armlock in combination with a semi-headlock was quite a lot more effective if I was not directly on top of my opponent, but instead, on the side. If I'm on top of my opponent, most wrestlers can just easily flip me to the side, whereas if I'm to the side of my opponent, I have a better leverage. I'm glad I'm still learning something new on every match. 😃

I really love his British accent. 😅 We caught up on the years that passed by. I gave him a nice and strong bearhug which he loved and reminded me to do him the same again the next time we meet. He is thinking of coming back again to Montreal next year.

Friday July 29 2022 - RickSFVisitors in town
RickSF and his husband were in Montreal this week. They flew all the way from San Francisco. I wrestled RickSF back in February 2014 during Wrestlefest, then I went to visit him in San Francisco in November 2014. Two years later, we wrestled again at Wrestlefest in February 2016 and we met again shortly after that in June 2016 for the Clash of the Titans. Still, quite a few years have passed by since.

RickSF has a great amount of amateur wrestling experience in his younger years, which helps him keeps his movement steady and prevents me from tumbling him over. All lin all, our wrestling was very casual, perhaps light wrestling, light submission or just some roughhousing.

We took a few pictures as well: here's your traditional bearhug. 😅

Followed by a revenge abdominal stretch with claw from RickSF:

And of course, a nice schoolboy pin to show who's the better one 😂

After our match, I guided RickSF and his husband around town a bit. We biked using governmental rental bikes to the edge of the canal. It was a good 2 hour bike ride that was supposed to take 90 minutes instead, but the wind wasn't cooperating. His husband had an electric bike and we used regular bikes. Following this, we went to try a few restaurants in Chinatown and in the Old Port, and we waddled around the gay village.

RickSF was also adamant to get the monkeypox vaccine and we have a center in Montreal that also accepts American citizen. He was very thrilled to take it because he couldn't get it in the US. Apparently, there are huge lineups and limited quantities available in his area, whereas here, we have enough to cover our own citizens and those who come from abroad.

His husband took this picture which I like a lot: while we were at the Old Port, there was a park that has steam vents, hence the smoke behind us.

We did say that I do need to visit San Francisco again eventually, but again, I'll still wait for restrictions to clamp down.

I also met with Shantig7 about a week ago and we also tumbled lightly. Shantig7 had quite a few opponents since and learned some new moves. You can also tell that he's a bit more rigid in the sense that you can feel now that he'll defend a bit more and knows better what he is doing.

We still took it easy and I think we are at a point where I eventually take the lead, pin him down, lock him in a hold and admire him. 😅

Shantig7 also lost some weight, but I tell him that he's fine the way he is. Of course, I do understand that for his self-esteem and for his health that it's better to go down to a comfortable zone.

Sunday May 22 2022 - WalterG, CanWrestle and Guy_WestVisitors in town
I had the place to myself again and WalterG (id 2846) was in town, so I laid down my mats in the living room and invited him over. He came all the way from Argentina by the way... ðŸ˜ē

WalterG is a biggut punching enthusiast, but he's also a pretty good wrestler as well and he can easily pin me down without much trouble. He'll be in town for about a month, so I will probably get a few repeat bouts while he's here.

Here's WalterG delivering to me a couple of GPs.

And here's my revenge: the infamous arm scissors with gut punch! Yes, he seems unfazed but wait until I distribute the video 😂

On a different day, CanWrestle (id 9693) was also visiting from Ottawa and he had a match at my place with Guy_West (id 10729). I unfortunately didn't get to tangle with Guy_West much because his time was limited. You can however watch the full match between Guy_West and CanWrestle on his WatchFighters' profile:

Part 1: https://www.watchfighters.com/posts/dad_vs_son_cmon_dad_lets_wrestle-yprdcgqt
Part 2: https://www.watchfighters.com/posts/cmon_dad_lets_wrestle_part_two-jhleojkq

I did tangle quite a bit with CanWrestle. He locked me into this favorite full nelson grapevine that I like a lot and we traded quite a bit of holds actually... it was semi-sub, light sub or just tangling around while chilling. Yeah, we took it easy, that's how I like it nowadays. 😅

I do like the look he is doing. It's like "I'm gonna make you submit you little punk!" Here's also a selfie flex that we took:

And of course I couldn't let him go without racking him this time around! 😂 He told me that this might be the first time anyone ever racked him, but something tells me that I might have racked him a couple of years ago.

CanWrestle also gave me a copy of the book entitled "The Challenge" containing the chapters of wrestling fiction that he wrote during the past years. It's available on Amazon if you'd like to support him. 😀

He told to me that he had come to accept that more and more wrestlers are calling him "daddy". He even changed his wrestling pseudonym to "67dad_canwrestle". However, there are limitations such that his opponent must have a reasonable age range to be allowed to call him that, which is totally understandable. I replied to him that I had once wrestled an opponent that was about 12 years older than me and this opponent liked to call me "dad" as well. I went with it anyway and called him "son", because in the end, it didn't make much of a difference to me whether it is "jobber/heel", "master/slave", "cops/robbers/bandits/prisoners", "superheroes/supervillains" or "dad/son". All to say that these are just fantasy titles that makes a wrestler happier when he hears or utters the words. 😅

Saturday March 19 2022 - Coming outBlog entry
So, about two weeks ago, I finally told my mom that I'm gay.

I know... I'm 41 years old, my mom lives with me, I probably should have done this sooner, but you know... she's very conservative, very religious, goes to mass every day... I knew it would break her heart, but it was necessary given the tension I had with the rest of my family. We had a disagreement on how she should be handled given her semi-autonomous status and the gradual, continual loss of her autonomy.

Regardless, she took it rather well... She said she knew it, she prayed every day still that I wasn't. She did ask me why I like men. And she told me that regardless of my orientation, I should still ago to church and she even mentioned that the pope once said that who is he to judge gay people? Ironically, a couple of years ago, she brushed that pope away because of that sentence, saying that he was too liberal. Hey, people do change with time. Come to think of it, even if she was really against my orientation (which I'm sure, she still is), there's not much she can do about it because she's very dependent on me. 20 years ago, I'd probably be kicked out and no longer considered from being her son, but now she needs me to do the simplest thing like renewing her medication, getting her a few groceries, paying her bills or calling the doctor to inquire about a pain she's been having because she's unable to do these simple tasks herself. For the record, she's 74.

All in all, It's a big step. It doesn't mean that I can bring wrestlers at my place, but it gives her peace of mind. For example, I can now tell her that I will sleepover at my boyfriend's... whereas all this time, she thought I was perhaps walking in the village or frequenting bars and that one day, I might come back home getting beaten up, with perhaps blood dripping from my mouth or having a black eye... Yeah no worries about that, I go to bars maybe once in a blue moon, usually when I have visitors in town. I don't go on a weekly or daily basis like the piece of figment of fear and imagination she's been having. 😉

So, what did I tell her all this time when I go meet wrestlers or when I take a flight to go to a wrestling event? Well... the usual cracked up stuff: I'm going to New York city or Atlanta for business, my work is sending me there, I will be coming home late tonight because of overtime... blah blah blah. She obviously didn't believe it, but it's not as if she couldn't do anything about it. She did inquire with my sisters, but they have always brushed the question away.

Mind you, my mom is an extraordinary person for she was able to raise 3 kids on her own, working numbingly for 40 years in the same place she hated, where she was ostracized (ironically) by people of the same ethnicity. Her kids mean everything to her. She can't speak French, nor English, yet she still managed to survive, raise us and see us flourish.

I didn't tell her yet that I wrestle though... are you crazy? 😝

I do remember asking though when I was younger if it watch okay to watch people fighting on TV (not to say the word "wrestle"... you know, this could include boxing, UFC, or just a plain TV series like Batman) and she did tell me that I shouldn't. It's just not okay according to her to watch people fighting TV even if it's fake (so I guess this would include the "KaPows!" in Batman).

There is still a long way ahead, but the biggest chunk is done. We don't go into specifics and that's understandable, it will still take some time. However, I no longer lie to her when I say I go out or with whom I go out with. I also no longer have to say that if I cut my hair, that it was a gurl who cuts my hair, because if it was a guy who cuts my hair, it apparently immediately would make me gay, because that's the stereotype that's engraved into her mind. 😂

Mind you, the same applies if I hangout with friends that are guys... let alone, tumble with them. ðŸĪžâ€â™‚ïļ

Friday October 1 2021 - A fellow from VancouverVisitors in town
I met today a wrestler from Vancouver. I'm going to keep his profile name hidden because because judging from his profile, he wants to be as discreet and private as possible.

After reading his description, I understood that he wanted to receive head scissors, headlocks and sleepers. Lo and behold, when I arrived, it was clearly the opposite. It shows how you can take a step in the wrong direction to attempt to communicate something or in an attempt to read it. 😂 I did told him just add the word "giving" head scissors in his profile to clearly state that he is someone that's more willing to give than to receive the rear end of submission holds.

This wrestler applied on me also breath holds: cupping his hand on my mouth and nose, which hampers breathing. I have to admit that I did not enjoy that and I eventually told him that I would like that move removed from his arsenal. I don't mind pressure from headlocks, sleepers, head scissors, but hampering someone's breathing is a bit beyond my limit. I know.. there's an interest of every kind, and while I try to be as open as possible, there will still be some holds that are not my cup of tea. Luckily, he was kind enough to oblige, he removed the hand cupping holds and he continued to other holds on me, whereas my holds on him were limited because he would tap very preemptively.

We've realized other differences in our match: he is more into head scissors, I'm more into body scissors. Our session was average. You really can't expect compatibility in every match. Still, I think our exchange lasted around 45 minutes. Afterwards, we shook hands, I gave my traditional bearhug and we parted ways. Will I wrestle him again? Maybe. Only time will tell.

For head scissor lovers though, I think this guy will be their gold mine or their sweetest dreams come true.

Thursday September 30 2021 - A tag team match... finally! :)Visitors in town
Signs of a recovery and that things have finally started to go back to normal: I had two wrestlers from out of town coming to Montreal for a match.

Sunny DeLeon from Winnipeg, Manitoba and TxWresl (id 3061) from San Antonio, Texas were in to town today, so we've set up a match with BicepDude (id 5450) for a tag team match.

The blue team consisted of BicepDude and Sunny DeLeon while the red team was me and TxWresl. Obviously, in this case, blue was the jobber team and red was for the heels.

Funny thing is that Sunny has the build and composure of a heel and he also has BJJ training, but he came back from a wrestling meet in Sherbrooke mostly racked and exhausted, so we've decided to make it easy for him. Had he wrestled me sub, he probably would have destroyed me easily. Lucky for me, since this was a jobber/heel session, I get to destroy him and his tag team partner BicepDude.

Later on, we switched it around, did one on ones, so I get a pulse of everybody. I went easy on TxWresl and we played lightly, trade a few holds. BicepDude defended himself well and it was a bit tough to put holds on him. Sunny was an obedient jobber letting me lock on him holds after holds, but I know he can easily defend himself... maybe less now, but in full power when he recovers for a rematch eventually. 🙂

Here's a pic of me racking Sunny.

If you do join Sunny's Instagram, I believe he posted our video. I hope you'll enjoy. 😉 You can also see it here under [ Clip ID 418 ], but there is a voting requirement because I wasn't sure if Sunny was going to post the un-edited video on a social network.

I did not do my homework and did not check the recommendations and history of Sunny DeLeon, but he apparently fought for a couple of wrestling video companies. He's very humble about it. Both Sunny and TxWresl are great opponents that I would love to wrestle them again.

Sunny also taught me how to do sleepers correctly (or rear-naked chokes). I am marking it down here because knowing myself, I will probably forget about it soon. The pressure is on the sides, so you form a V with your left elbow around the neck, but the V is never supposed to squeeze the front part of the neck. It's the left bicep and the forearm that do the squeezes on the side of the neck while the left arm reaches for the bicep on the right arm and the right hand pushes slightly the head of the opponent forward. I know... described this way, it looks like a convoluted maze, but that's why I probably should have taken a video. 😂

A funny highlight of our session was a reverse grapevine that I was putting on Sunny. I was behind him and we were both lying down on the mattress. My legs were interlocking his legs to stretch him, but I've noticed that his head was dangling in mid-air in this hold and he wasn't exactly comfortable... The way I've locked him, he can't lean his head on my chest, so I took a pillow and put it on my chest. I guess he didn't quite exactly expect that and he ended up bursting into laughter. 😂 On one end, I'm torturing him by stretching his legs, but on the other end, I want to make sure he is comfy. What kind of a heel am I? 😉

Sunny and TxWresl invited me for supper afterwards where we had a very nice evening talking about our wrestling experiences and how things went on for us for the past few years. These guys gave me hope: if they can travel, I can travel as well. Maybe soon enough.

TxWresl told me that he had the honor of wrestling a fellow wrestler with an online wrestling handle/pseudonym of Lowe and another one with Steve Mason. They both wrestled for various companies. He cherished those matches and he was happy to introduce these two wrestlers to the first few matches, which helped them blossom and discover our fun world of underground wrestling.

Tuesday November 12 2019 - Scissor GuyVisitors in town
Originally from Toronto, I wrestled Scissor Guy (id 2294) four years ago, so I went and checked what I wrote and all I got was... two lines:

"Iirish/Scottish lad from Toronto. Very nice and friendly guy. Still learning the ropes. We did mostly some play wrestling, clamped some holds and I showed him a couple of moves. "

For some reason, I feel today that this description is insufficient to have a proper recollection of memories that dates four years ago.

What I should written is that he is a cubbish bearish guy and has some nice hair on his chest. The part about play wrestling is pretty accurate, although if I was to be a bit more specific, I'd say that the style he adopts involves slow-paced submission holds leaning towards promission, with perhaps a dish of sensuality on the side. He also has a nipple weakness with a firm, but not too firm grip and he likes to give (read, give only) light body punches.

Despite his pseudonym indicating that he likes scissors, I guess he likes them... moderately. My scissors are probably too frequent and too hard to bear... so I eventually understood that I should apply less scissors and with a lot less pressure. Hey, he can give some good scissors too: he has pretty good legs, but yeah, I'd be glad to take any amount of scissors he can throw at me.

25 past opponents forward, Scissor Guy picked up some endurance, strength and experience. He has quite a few holds to try on, to counter and to attack. He even lifted me up in a fireman's carry, walked around the room and even bent down and up several times while having my weight on him. Very impressive. What is this exercise called again?

We wrestled and talked for about two hours and I was ready to give him some more scissors, but he did other matches yesterday and the day before so I guess he reached his scissor (and wrestling) quota.

I need to add him to my Toronto list the next time I get back there.

Sunday October 13 2019 - Samurai Leg SplitVisitors in town
SamuraiWrestler (id 10716) was in town and gave me a shout for a match.

We've wrestled back in May and his business travels often lands him in Montreal. He told me that he's into bigger guys... but not too big. He's one of the few lighter wrestlers (lighter than me by about 20 pounds) that I've wrestled somewhat regularly.

He remembered some of the moves I taught him to get out of scissors, and it actually made me wondered why I've ever taught him those moves... I guess I felt a bit bad constantly squeezing him that I felt I should give him a chance.

SamuraiWrestler showed me that you can have fun with the very simplest of holds. It doesn't need to be complicated. It just needs to take advantage of the limits of a human body. You'll realize that this easy-to-apply leg split strikes the right chords in me. Simply have a look at [ Clip ID 383. ]

After our match, we ended up watching on TV the beginning of a movie with Seth Rogen and that's when I asked him if he'd wrestle a guy like him and that's when SamuraiWrestler told me: "Too big." I casually responded: "Seth would definitely be one of my types." That being said, I'd still wrestle SamuraiWrestler any time.

Saturday October 5 2019 - MaineWrestlingChub, round 2Visitors in town
MaineWrestlingChub (id 11066) was back for round 2. He kindly took a bigger hotel this time for our match up. He was a bit more aggressive this time around, but all within respectable limits. He knows how to employ the right intensity.

His strength is still highly superior to mine, so there's little I can do to protect myself. Also, most of my holds that have any effectiveness require his cooperation.

Being more tech-oriented, I took the opportunity to teach him how to upload new pictures on both his MeetFighters and his bearhugger profile. Little did I know thought that he had a profile here. The only little problem is that he opened his account back in 2016 and hadn't been back since, so quite a few messages were waiting in his inbox.

I told him he has a big heart because of the field/domain he is in. He is very dedicated to his work and he takes very little time off. Like me, most of his match-ups are made when he travels. He tells me he usually wrestles bigger guys or "bears", but there's something about me that makes him want to wrestle me. He says I'm a legend, and I keep telling him that I'm just your typical wrestler: like any other wrestler.

We spent the evening sharing a few of our experiences, some about life, others about our careers while taking a side road of wrestling, but that didn't prevent us from locking a few holds now and then between our chatter. The only thing I may have forgotten to do is to try to use the fireman's carry on him. A rack is probably out of the question, but there are other means and alternatives to carry a big guy.

Near the end of our match, he was caught by a dizzy spell that made him feel noxious. What worries me is that he would have to drive back to Bangor in this state. Luckily, he was able to make it back safely home afterwards.
